Many teams choose to mark incidents  as resolved once the secret involved has been revoked or rotated. With the  GitGuardian auto-resolution playbook, you can automate this process, saving you a  step any time a credential becomes invalid. This works for both real-time detection  and all historical incidents whenever an incident is re-checked for validity. When you activate this playbook, GitGuardian will give you a warning that any  affected historical incidents will be resolved We will update the audit log and list  "GitGuardian Bot" for the corresponding action. Activating playbooks is easy but requires  you to have a manager or owner role. In the GitGuardian dashboard, navigate  to settings and click on Playbooks From there, you can toggle  the status for the playbook labeled "Auto-resolve incidents  when valid secrets are revoked" Take advantage of automation to save your team  time once an incident has been remediated.
