Customize the remediation workflow in your GitGuardian workspace. Manage up to 20 steps, switch between default and custom workflows. Tailor it to your organization's context and policies.
Did you know you can customize your GitGuardian Dashboard to display your ownÂ
custom remediation workflow? GitGuardian provides some great incidentÂ
Remediation Guidelines by default - based on our experience helping teams ofÂ
all sizes find and fix secret leaks. In every incident's detail view,Â
you see on the right-hand side, a multi-step process laid out to helpÂ
you resolve the situation safely. But a lot of teams we work with haveÂ
built their own remediation workflows that they would prefer to show toÂ
team members working on incidents. You can click on the "edit workflow" link in theÂ
incident view to get started or find the right page by going to Settings -> Secret DetectionÂ
and clicking on the Remediation Workflow tab. From here, you can build your own workflow,Â
step by step, linking to any resources you like! Using secret manager toolsÂ
like Vault or Doppler? Link to the best documentation right from the workflow. When you are ready to share it with your teams,Â
just toggle the radio button beside your Custom remediation workflow and now it shows upÂ
across all your incidents in the dashboard. It is just one more way GitGuardian makes it easy for teams to gain control overÂ
their secrets management strategy!
